Subscribers template
Create and update BigCommerce subscribers using Shift.
Quick start
The best way to get started is to run an export and use the file as a guide to the format required.

Import & export columns
Basic columns
| Fields | Description |
|---|---|
| ID | This is the unique identifier provided by BigCommerce for existing subscribers. This field is required to update existing subscribers. |
| The subscriber's email. This field must be unique amongst all subscribers | |
| First Name | The subscriber's first name. This field must be shorter than 256 characters |
| Last Name | The subscriber's last name. This field must be shorter than 256 characters |
| Source | The source of the subscriber Allowed values: custom, storefront, order |
| Channel Name | The channel where the subscriber was created |
| Consents | The consent that the subscriber as given. If empty, the customer hasn't given consent for newsletter subscriptions or has unsubscribed. Multiple values can be provided by separating with a comma. Allowed values: marketing_consent, abandoned_cart |
| Order ID | The ID of the source order, when the source was an order. |
Export filters
You can filter subscriber exports to include subscribers by date created or updated.
tip
As you reduce the number of items in your export, or change what data should be included, the estimate of the number of records and duration of the export will be updated
